Technical
Is the vehicle street legal in my country?
Street legal refers to a vehicle that meets all the regulatory requirements set by local authorities to be legally driven on public roads. EVIG is street legal in all European countries under the L5e-B vehicle classification.
What license do I need?
EVIG is type-approved as an L5e vehicle (light three-wheeler). Depending on the country, it may be permitted with a category B car licence, even though it is not a four-wheeled vehicle. In some markets, A1/A2/A motorcycle categories may apply instead. Always verify local regulations, as requirements vary by jurisdiction.
Can I customize and get add-ons for the cargo space?
Yes, EVIGs flexible cargo space lets you easily customize it with various add-ons allowing you to adapt it to your specific needs and business requirements. Contact us as sales@cleanmotion.se for more information.
How do I unlock/lock EVIG?
EVIG is keyless which means it opens and starts when the driver approaches the vehicle when the key is in the driver’s pocket. It locks automatically when you are a few meters away from the vehicle. This solution enables a smooth workflow for the driver to support efficient drop off and pick up of goods.
How do I charge an EVIG?
EVIG charges via its onboard charger from a standard 230 V AC outlet. The charger draws up to 1,200 W, which is approximately 5.2 A at 230 V. In most cases, no dedicated charging infrastructure is required, and a 6 A circuit is typically sufficient. If the circuit is shared with other loads, a 10 A or 16 A circuit provides more headroom.
Depending on what is available at your site, you can charge using either a Type 2 to Type 2 cable or a Type 2 to Schuko cable (standard wall socket). For best results, use a properly rated outlet and follow local electrical guidelines.
How do Clean Motion batteries differ from market alternatives?
The Clean Motion battery is developed in-house and is part of the vehicle architecture, enabling high energy efficiency and low energy consumption. This means you will have a longer range with a smaller battery.
What connectivity services do you offer?
EVIG is connected, meaning we’ll provide the data you need when you need it. Please get in touch and we’ll dig deeper into your needs.
Is there an app for drivers?
Not at the moment, but data can be provided via API.
